LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A downtown intersection is closed Monday morning after two Las Vegas police vehicles were involved in a crash.
Around 4:31 a.m., the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a crash on Main Street and Bonneville Avenue. Two marked patrol vehicles were identified in the crash, and the occupying officers were transported to the hospital as a precaution.
Traffic officers are investigating the crash, though no further details were immediately available.
The intersection of Main Street and Bonneville Avenue is currently closed due to debris and the ongoing investigation. Officers say the intersection should be fully open again shortly.
The public is advised to find alternate routes until the intersection reopens.
