LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A driver is seriously injured Monday morning after an overnight rollover crash in the west valley.
Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the crash around 2:19 a.m. at the intersection of Jones Boulevard and Sahara Avenue. It was determined that the crash involved a single vehicle, and two occupants were located within the sedan.
The passenger sustained “significant injuries,” which were “non-life-threatening,” according to police. The driver of the sedan, however, had injuries that were considered life-threatening,.
Fatal detectives have responded to the scene.
Northbound lanes on Jones Boulevard between Sahara Avenue and Oakey Boulevard will remain closed due to debris and the ongoing investigation. The closure will remain in effect until the investigation is complete.
The public is advised to avoid the area.
