LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Valley has officially hit 110 degrees for the first time in 2024.
Among scorching temps this week, Thursday was the first to hit 110 degrees, tying the record for the earliest start to 110-degree temperatures. The previous record was set June 6, 2010.
The record-tying temperatures come during an Excessive Heat Warning, which is in effect through Saturday night. The Las Vegas Valley sees high temps like this often, but not usually this early in the year. Temperatures are running 10 to 15 degrees above average for this time of year.
