LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A 65-year-old man is dead after colliding with a road barrier on Tuesday morning in Henderson.
Henderson Police and Fire Departments responded to the crash around 8:00 a.m. at Auto Show Drive and Eastgate Road. A man was discovered at the scene and was transported to Henderson Hospital, where he would later die from his injuries.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the man was traveling in a blue 2004 Ford pickup on Auto Show Drive. The crash occurred when the truck, for unknown reasons, left the roadway and crashed into a road barrier, which caused the truck to roll over.
Police say that speed, impairment, or a medical episode are currently unknown factors in this incident.
“The collision is being investigated as the eleventh accident-related fatality for 2024,” HPD noted in a release.
