LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A planned outage will occur in the area of Baker, Calif. Wednesday, which may impact anyone traveling in the area.
Nevada Department of Transportation and Southern California Edison said the outage will impact the Baker community along I-15 on Wednesday, May 29 from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. the next morning. It will impact a 90-mile stretch along I-15 near Baker.
NDOT warns that food establishments, gas stations and EV charging ports around Baker will not be available during the outage. Travelers are urged to plan accordingly due to the limited amenities.
NDOT plans overhead messaging on I-15 to warn drivers of the planned outage, especially for those heading southbound from Las Vegas.
