Spring makes an excellent time to check out the brunches in Vegas, and, boy, do we have a fair few here, including at Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar on Saturdays and Sundays. With a large bar area, plenty of screens and a dining area dominated by a monstrous screen across the far wall that always has an interesting sporting event on, this restaurant will ensure you start the day right.
Grab a libation first—and, of course, brunch has to have bottomless mimosas and a Bloody Mary cart. Large-format cocktails, tons of beer choices and beer towers guarantee you’ll stay hydrated. A DJ also provides the tunes.
A basket of donuts, lox and cream cheese flatbreads, or spinach crab dip let everyone share, but there are plenty of entrées to order, like the green chili pork Benedict with smoked pork shoulder, avocado and a green chili hollandaise, or the Dutch Baby cast Iron Pancake, with a lemon ricotta pancake, maple syrup and berry compote. Brown butter pancakes, with whipped butter, strawberries and pistachio cream, give those butter lovers something to live for. But the double wagyu smash burger may be more to your liking, with its quarter-pound patties, American cheese and bacon-onion jam stacked on a brioche bun.
Whether you’re looking to recover from your night-before festivities or start the day rolling right, Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar is sure to help you get on with that mission.
