LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating after three vehicles were involved in a crash that injured several people on Friday night.
According to a preliminary report, officers responded to the area of Rainbow and Spring Valley at approximately 7:52 p.m. One vehicle was driving northbound on Rainbow when a second turned eastbound from Rainbow onto Spring Valley, causing a crash.
Police said that due to the impact of the initial crash, a third vehicle turning north onto Rainbow was also struck.
Half a dozen passengers involved in the crash were taken to a nearby hospital and one reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police said that all the drivers remained on the scene and impairment was not suspected to be a factor in the crash. Roads are closed in all directions as police investigate.
