Antonio Pierce spoke of the group of available quarterbacks in the 2024 NFL Draft, “Yeah, it was good. Being at the combine, these pro days, getting around these prospects, they’re all ultra-competitive, and that’s what I liked about them. You look at them, there’s a few quarterbacks that have over 50-plus starts, there’s some guys that were three and done, and one and done for that matter. But what you’re looking for is a leader, you’re looking for somebody who wants to come in, like what I was asked earlier, to come in that room and be competitive, give us that edge. And again, if it’s a rookie, if it’s Aidan [O’Connell], if it’s [Gardner] Minshew, [Anthony] Brown [Jr.], we’re going to put the best player out there that gives us a chance to win.”
The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently have the No. 13 overall pick.
