LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Clark County is getting ready for Southern Nevada’s 2024 spring job fair.
According to a media release, more than 120 employers will be at the Las Vegas Convention Center to meet face-to-face with job-seekers. It’s expected to be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, March 8.
Hosted by Commission Chairman Tick Segerblom and commissioner Jim Gibson, the fair is in partnership with EmployNV Business Hub.
“We know connecting employers to great hires helps keep our Southern Nevada economy strong,” said Clark County Commission Chairman Tick Segerblom. “The Spring Job Fair has a proven track record of helping businesses big and small find the workers they need while helping members of our community discover new opportunities.”
“The Spring Job Fair is a one-stop shop for anyone looking to re-enter the workforce or earn a better wage,” said Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson. “Attendees should treat this event like an interview with multiple employers because it is. Every employer is hiring.”
Computers and printers will also be accessible for people looking to apply. Career coaches will be there for last minute resume reviews.
Job-seekers can pre-register for the Spring Job Fair here. Officials say those who pre-register could save time at the door and receive important event updates. This year, those registering could upload their resume for employers to view beforehand.
Free childcare will also be offered for kids between three to six who are potty trained, but space is limited. Those who plan on attending can email EmployNVBizHub@detr.nv.gov with questions.
