Henderson Chamber of Commerce celebrated the greatest business successes of the year with the 23rd Annual Economic Development and Small Business Awards, held on Feb. 27, at M Resort. The annual event recognized the latest in business ventures, noteworthy innovations and individuals excelling in customer service, nonprofit initiatives and overall business excellence.
“We are proud to honor the outstanding contributions of small businesses across Southern Nevada, allowing the recognition of achievement and hard work,” said Scott Muelrath, president and CEO of Henderson Chamber of Commerce. “The Annual Economic Development and Small Business Awards allows the business community to unite to recognize the exceptional efforts made throughout the year.”
CITY OF HENDERSON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AWARDS
Recognizing the most impactful annual advancements, five honors were presented to the best of the best in economic development including:
● Economic Development Project of the Year — ANA, Inc.
● Expansion Project of the Year — Poly-West, Inc.
● Redevelopment Project of the Year — Lake Mead Crossing, GK Real Estate
● Private Sector Person of the Year — Nikki Fargas, president, Las Vegas Aces
● O’Callaghan Public Sector Person of the Year — Dr. Federico Zaragoza, president, College of Southern Nevada
HENDERSON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SMALL BUSINESS AWARDS
Five accolades were bestowed upon remarkable small enterprises that made significant contributions and impacted the community of Southern Nevada including:

● Business on the Rise Award — Revere Mechanical
● Customer Service Award — Masterpiece Cuisine
● Outstanding Community Service Award – The Sherlock Team at CrossCountry Mortgage
● Outstanding Nonprofit Award — The Lullaby Connection
Henderson Chamber members nominated local businesses for the awards. The finalists and winners were chosen by a committee of Chamber members and staff.
